Even though this came as highly recommended through an article that I read, it didn't work well for me at all. After taking it for several days, I increased the dosage, thinking that maybe the dosage was too low. Unfortunately, it made me feel worse. Tired, lethargic, brain fog. Thankfully I had another brand on hand that I was able to switch too, which gave me great energy and helped to bounce back to feeling normal again. Both claim to be methylcobalomin, but the Thorne brand just didn't do it for me.06/04/2025I really felt that I needed to update my review after going back and forth between a couple of different brands of Methyl B-12. I discovered a few years ago that I have the MTHFR gene and for anyone that has this gene, you know how difficult it can be finding a product that works well. I did go back to this brand, but I have discovered that the initial issue that I was having was not getting enough b-12. Once I started taking 4 of these capsules per day, in divided doses, with a meal, I started to see some nice improvement and better sleep quality. I have read that people with the MTHFR gene can require a higher dose of b-12, and this is the case for myself. I have checked Thorne's website for a higher dosage but didn't come across anything, so I'll probably be switching brands. It's not cost effective to be taking 4 of these a day. Despite that, I did want to amend my review to a more positive one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good quality and great price

As a vegan, I need a supplement for vitamin B12. I have no issues with this product. When I've taken other Vitamin B products in the past, I've had side effects. But I don't get them with these pills.

I love the supplement. I use it all the time. I wish they would make a 90 day supply bottle.
