Bristol Novelty BA404 Viking Sword/Shield and Axe Set, Unisex-Adult, One Size

Waste of money. Quality is not worth more than AED 10. Product is made of too thin cheap plastic material. Shield was broken even in 5 minutes after opening the toy. 😔😔😔Wish to return if possible.

Great as part of a costume for a hen do, please be aware (as I was from other comments) that this is a small item, and would be ideal for very little ones and not for adults in general, unless like me you want to add to a costume as decoration.The only thing I would say is that it is over priced (but this seller was better priced than others) it is what I would expect to see in a bargain shop, however it will be ideal for my needs and I understood what I was buying, So I'm happy enough. I would have liked to have chosen which set I got, I got the blue and red and would have preferred the wooden one, still it doesn't state which one would be received so this is only a preference thing rather than a complaint. Maybe if you need a specific colour then it might be worth asking the seller in advance (something I didn't think of till after purchase), I have to add since buying this the price has risen, I paid £5.82 +£1.16 p+p, now it's a Prime item and technically should be cheaper given free delivery from prime membership it has risen in price by £1.72 which is rather puzzling

It served it purpose. My 9 year old boy needed a Viking axe to complete his outfit and you can't have too many swords and shields when his mates come around. The axe is pretty good, not as good as the foam ones I prefer to have around but since they are now for "babies" this is a good step up to suit the growing "men" of the house! I have removed the sword from general use because it is quite sturdy, not razor sharp, but could cause hurt on a level that is higher that other soft plastic swords we have so I wouldn't want it to be used without supervision, especially when my 5 year old daughter joins in - I don't want to be bandaging up the boys! The shield however is a bit of a laugh. It really is the size of a small dinner plate. That said, it gets played with, its plastic so takes a knock or two from the sturdy sword and is easy for my 5 year old to run around with and of course to store in the toy box. Just looks a bit daft next to my boy's homemade 80 cm diameter one. Overall, its cheap and has proved quite durable and the kids are using it. The sword needs softening a bit though, different plastic or rounder fatter edges, or both! Best suited to complete a dress up rather than to use in play battles around the house.

The sheild has a decent strength & small round design easy to grip handle 🤔 the sword is decent size & very flexi the axe never got tested because it arrived split on the card) not bad for the price sheild is plain brown But could add your own art stickers or whatever

The shield is small as other reviews have suggested. Would be fine for a toddler dress up

I should have read the reviews as this item is just embarrassing, I had no time to return it and didn’t want to pay £3 to send it back. The sword and axe are both tiny but okay. The shield is pathetic. Unhappy purchase
