How do you know what size magiglide to buy? Do you have to ask the appliance manufacturer or turn the appliance on its side and measure the feet?

The correct size of pads is that they should be slighter smaller than the feet you are going to put them on. This is important so you must try to take some measurements before you buy.do that and you will find that they do what it says on the tin!!!!!kp

Looking for something to stop my new floor getting scratched when dragging the cooker and fridge back in, will these work?

We have rhino flooring in our kitchen, and they work a treat. Guess any sort of linoleum of floor tiles, or even laminate will be fine.  I had a couple of spares that I gave my neighbour this week as she has just had her kitchen done, to try them out. I expect she will be ordering them soon.  For about £3 you can't get better. Saves your back as well as money.

How do you get the pads onto a washing machine that is too heavy to lift?

If like me you live alone and disabled and do not have anyone to give you a hand,these magiGLIDE pads can be stuck on like this...a bit of lifting is required.  What I do with a heavy washing machine or freezer is to lift the appliance so exposing the bottom legs and to lean it at a safe angle against say a solid wall, and make sure it doesn't move at all..! .Where you are about to place the pads of course must have enough space and  to carry out this job with your hand, which only takes a moment or two...Usually I would do this ' operation '  late at night and leave to the next morning so these magiGLIDE movers are well  stuck on...Of course if you cannot lift at all you need the kind help of a friend or neighbour, and which I would regard this tip I've mentioned as pretty straight forward with the minimum of effort...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     regards,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       John.

Do these magiglide disc work alright on laminated flooring?

I would say so. I've got them on the legs of our dining chairs. As a comment I got the stick-on ones (which work OK) but I think the 'nail & clip' set  are designed for wooden furniture and might have been a better choice.
