What are the dimensions of this walker.
Does this come as flat packed and can fit into a suitcase. I am looking to buy one and take it abroad
I bought this frame but it's too big. What can I do to return it because I can't go to the post because of my leg

Sadly this has become an essential item, thankfully it is up to the job

As anybody who has followed my reviews will know I have had some health issues thanks to the virus we do not name.Part of those health issues has become the sometime very hard to walk days where I would be bed-bound if not for some external help. This frame is one of those items of help and thank god for it, he folds up neatly for the days I do not need him and is so lightweight that I can grab him easily and construct him from bed before forcing my way out of bed.He is also sturdy and secure and is taking my 6.1 over 140kg easily and allowing me to move around again at an admittedly slow speed but far better than being stuck in bed, the wheels roll along easily enough and the two gliders allow for smooth movement without fear of toppling over. The price at just under ÂŁ50 is superb and has allowed me to regain some of my freedom again and this cannot be overstated, most days I can move around fairly decently but some days I have been a prisoner of my bed, no more with the aid of this walker and a trusty walking stick, highly recommended.

Just what I needed

I have had recent surgury and the hospital only had standard size frames in stock. I live quite some distance from the hospital so going back for a taller one was difficult. Zimmers also only fit on the back seat of my car and not the boot. This spot is reserved for me so I can keep my foot elevated! This is adjustable to the correct height and easily folds. It's good quality but for some reason not as smooth as the NHS issue one. Can't quite put my finger on why. It still works well however and certainly meets my needs.

Fantastic but heavier than the usual NHS variety of frame.

I currently need a frame around the ground floor of my house but also when I've got appointments away from home. A standard issue NHS frame won't fit into the boot of my Mums' little car so I've been a bit restricted in being able to get out of the house. This is great for overcoming that obstacle!Pros- On unpacking the only things you need to do are unfold it- Attach the lower legs- Adjust them to the right height- Decide whether you want to use the gliders (standard round ferrules supplied) on the back legs (and, yes, they do make it easier, smoother and quieter to move around if you do use them).- The little buttons you need to press into the top frame so you can fit the lower legs are much easier to press in than on anything else I've got - not a broken nail in sight!- The space between the back legs is wider than the NHS frame so makes it much easier for me to maintain my center of gravity. That's helping me to walk around more often and so is improving my muscle tone, albeit slowly.-It folds very easily just by pressing two release buttons on the top bar. Folded, it fits easily into the boot of a small car. It feels sturdy enough to cope with a pile of shopping on top of it!Cons- It's not lightweight and that took a couple of hours to get used to. The listing says it weighs only 7 1/2 lbs but, to me, it feels heavier than that. It doesn't affect ease of use though, especially if you decide to use the glider ferrules.-It took me a while to get used to the fact that the top front rail is lower than the sides - I've been used to just holding onto that if I want to stand and talk to someone or need to reach for something from a high shelf. Now I've got used to it, it's fine but I did find myself missing the bar where it is on a standard walker on a few disconcerting occasions.- It doesn't have a seat. Since that's not what I bought it for and the addition of one would make assembly and, possibly folding more complicated, it doesn't matter to me at the moment. If I start to get out of the house more frequently, I might have to invest in one with a seat and just use this one around the house or when I'm going to an indoor appointment.I ordered mine open box (sent out to someone else but returned unused) so paid only ÂŁ37.61 for it. Having used it for a few weeks now, I'd be willing to pay the full price for it if I needed another, perhaps for upstairs (wouldn't fancy trying to get it and me upstairs on the stairlift in a very narrow staircase).Overall, a very good buy and one I'm really pleased with!

Far safer and more supportive than a three wheeled walker, can be fitted with a bag,

I have a severely arthritic hip, and cerebral palsy, which has restricted me to working from home for the last six years. Previously I was using two sticks to get around, and a three wheeled walker for some shopping trips. where I couldn't use a store shopping trolley for space. My physiotherapist had remarked on the instability of the three wheeled walker, and this was something that concerned me. It was difficult to use, as placing anything other than light pressure on the walker tipped it towards me. This is seriously scary, when you have balance problems. This is so much better, already I am moving around faster, and able to support myself far more effectively. I can put my whole weight on this, if I have to.I'd seen a similar folding walker in a catalogue, but that only supported a fourteen stone user. which is slightly heavier than me. This supports double that weight. It took just a few minutes to assemble. no tools are needed. Just fit the legs to the same height. Each hole on the adjustable legs is numbered, so it's easy to get it right. The wheels simply push into place, and the rubber ferrules for the rear feet are already fitted. The handles are really comfortable to use, not hard plastic, but slightly soft and 'rubbery'.Folding the walker is easy, and you can still use it to support you as you do this. I've also hooked bags over the frame handles with some light items, so you can use it to help you to carry some shopping.I've fitted a sturdy stretch net bag to the front to hold some items, and this doesn't interfere with walking or folding.I wish I'd got this ages ago.Arrived the next day with Prime delivery, sensibly protected in recycleable packaging. Fantastic price, good value. It's all good.
