I think these items from Swiss Colony are WAYYYY overpriced, but was an appropriate gift for a family at Christmas. I bought one for myself, and my son ate the to ENTIRE thing in one day, while i was gone. Obviously very yummy, but still mad i didn't get any.

Some of us love tiny: Not all of us are opposed. This box has great variety: A sample of just about everything. I tried to imagine if anything in the box were bigger, and recognized that the gift would either have to include fewer items or the box itself would be quite large, heavy and awkward. So my opinion: this is just the right size! Especially to include everything it has. I think it makes a festive holiday gift for a small group or small family; (about 2 or 3 people, possibly 4 or 5 if some of them are children). Perfect for Christmas and also great idea for New Year's. It is just a snack box, not a feast, but runs the full gamut of holiday type treats and snacks. You will surely come to know which Swiss Colony items are your favorites, with this great variety pack.

I’ve read complains about portion sizes and, yes, while they’re not huge, as a gift ( for Christmas or otherwise), the presentation is exceptionally nice & has excellent quality food items. Because I ordered many of these for family & friends, I decided to order one for myself to see it firsthand. The box is sturdy & tastefully elegant; suitable for women & men. It contains a variety of meats, cheeses, sweets & 2 jars of flavored mustards. The food items I’ve tried thus far have been delicious! I plan to put a charcuterie board together with the meats & cheeses and make a sweet treat plate from the other items. I’ve not ordered a Swiss Colony package in years but, from memory, the quality of their food is still quite good. Based in Wisconsin, they know their cheeses!

I purchased this as a gift for my son. He was very happy with it. He said it all tasted good and the cakes were moist and fresh.

It was a gift for a couple’s anniversary. They loved it!
