Elite Gourmet ECT118B Cool Touch Single Slice Toaster : I REALLY 🤗 like this slim/small/single toaster. It fits well on a floating shelf in my kitchen next to the hot water pot. The pop up takes getting used to but it works well. I can put my small tortillas in it to warm them as well as bagel 1/2s. I only have a small amount of counter space and I hate mess and I don't need to make 2 pieces of toast at a time!!😏

Just used it for the first time. It worked just fine. It does not seem "heavy duty" but I believe it will last quite awhile. The price was very low. Time will tell if it lasts but for now it is what I was seeking.

I only eat one slice of toast at a time, and this was the only one-slice toaster I found. I've only used it a few times, but so far it's worked okay; time will tell. (I'll edit this review if troubles arise.) Bread slices don't completely descend into the toaster, so the top of the slice is not as browned as the rest. But the top is stll crunchy. My unit may be the exception, but I need to use setting 1 to avoid burning the bread. That's my reason for the 4 star rating. I don't have a lot of counter space, so between uses I store it in a cabinet. I feared that I might have to let it cool down before putting it away, but the outside remains cool, allowing me to pick it up bare-handed as soon as toasting is done.

This toaster broke after I used it four times. I was excited to find a single slice toaster for my office since I don't have much room and don't like using the communal toaster in the break room that has probably never been cleaned.The first issue I noticed was that the toast popped up very aggressively. That is a strange statement, I know, but it popped up so hard that it literally cleared the top of the toaster and fell in the floor. The second issue I had was that if I make two pieces of toast in a row the second would burn, presumably because the coils were already hot from making the first piece, so I would have to wait a minute or two before doing a second piece. I could live with both of these issues, but the 5th time I tried to use the toaster I ran into an issue that I couldn't overlook.When I put the slice of bread in and pushed the lever down it didn't catch at the bottom. I've had this happen before because a toaster was unplugged, so I checked that and it was plugged into a working outlet. I kept fiddling with the lever trying to get it to stay down, and then I realized that the coils were actually heating up when I had the lever down, so whatever mechanism is supposed to catch when you press it must have broken. I can still make toast, but only if I stand there and hold the lever down and let it up to check the doneness over and over.I am assuming that whatever was causing the toast to pop up so aggressively broke and now the mechanism doesn't work at all. I have sent a support request to the company and will update this review when/if they respond to my complaint. Super disappointing, and of course it happened after Amazon's return window closed.

I love this little machine. It's perfect for a single person that lives in a small maybe studio apartment small kitchen with not too much space it's perfect. I mean it's really cute and perfect there's only one thing I bought those toaster pouches to make like grilled cheese it doesn't two slices don't fit in there at the same time so those things didn't work but I'll make grilled cheese the traditional way I guess.

Cute little toaster. Perfect for our little camper. However, it is a 1-slice toaster so if you plan on toasting say 3 or 4 slices in a row, buy a 2 slicer.The side melted after toasting 3 slices in a row.

An adorable toaster. Love the look but not the workmanship. It is poorly made. The toast pops out of the toaster in the first use onto the floor. It takes time to figure out the right temperature gage. Wasted a few pieces of toast. Wish more l slice toasters were available to chose from.

Great toaster and size - doesn't take up any room - toast comes out great - I like dark toast - takes a thicker slice - 👍
