Q: What size are the individual compartments? I am intending to use for my face paints.

Hi There is one plain flat palette, this is 31x21x1cm. Underneath this part, there are 6 individual wells, which can be taken out and these measure 9x10.5x2cm. There are also 3 pull out parts that have three wells that are 3x3x2cm and four wells that are 4.5x3x2cm. I hope this helps but if you need more information, please do ask. Kind regards Tegan

Q: Can this palette be used for oil paints?

Sorry can’t answer this question as my grand daughter only uses water colours. It holds a variety of sizes, so you could do a ‘tester’. Well worth the money.

Q: can you get more of the inserts separately?

My wife who uses it says you can, not that she has bought any & doesn’t know where you would get them. Hope that helps.
