Is great for babies but not for adults.
Definitely great for babies. I bought to use with husband’s incontinence and it filled up fast so used lots more bags. I searched for one for adults and it is better for an adult. If diaper genie would make one larger I would buy that one.

Keeps smell contained
It keeps the smell contained, some other parents mentioned the steel is better because the plastic version eventually absorbs the diaper smell

I love this product.
I love this product. I have the Diaper Genie in one room and the ubbi in another and the Diaper Genie does a much better job of masking scent and generally has a more sanitary feel.You will be disposing the poop of at least one member of your household into this thing for at least 2.5 years, so you may as well get the best if you can afford it.

A Nursery Must Have!
Since I'm the grandma and this was a gift, I really don't use one. However, both of my youngest daughters love them.

DOES NOT PREVENT ODORS!!!!
This might be the worst $80 I’ve ever spent! It DOES NOT keep the odors from the diapers inside the bags or inside the genie. When removing the inner bag, the device continues to reek. We’ve tried replacing the bags daily (which is a complete waste since they’re less than half full). The only way we’ve been able to get rid of the smell from the genie itself is to drench it with Lysol spray & prop the lid open for several hours. Then, as soon as we put another diaper in, the smell immediately returns. Therefore, I highly recommend you save your money & refrain from purchasing this particular model.

Convenient
Love this diaper pail and the fact that it has a step. Makes it easier for disposing with full hands/in a rush. I used to have one that you had to push the diaper in by hand and this step is such a nice added feature

A genie with many wishes
The diaper genie is a game-changer. It locks in the smell and is easy to open with one foot. Only downside is it doesn’t fit many diapers so we have to empty it often. It’s really easy to empty though.

Actually keeps the stink away!
I read tons of reviews on this before buying and it does actually keep the odors down. Make sure to get the charcoal pads on auto shop and replace them timely! Makes a big difference in the odor control
