If you're looking for extra support for your Deccom G7, I completely understand your need. This truly is the perfect solution! I always purchase these for my husband during the summer months when he requires that extra coverage. It’s so important to ensure that the G7 stays secure, especially when he’s around water.

I tried both the open “avocado” patches and closed (other brand) and experienced the same issue: they don’t hold up. These stickers are so big, much bigger than the Libre 3’s and I think that’s where the problem lies. The adhesion is good around the middle but the edges are awful. They start to come off around the edge immediately and I am forced to change them daily after they collect dirt and start to turn black. Having to change them daily has irritated my skin so badly and I have really ugly painful marks and even bled a little bit. I was testing both the Dexcom and Libre 3, and this experience alone has made me decide to stick with the libre since those smaller patches stay on longer.**also note the avocado patches will only “work” if you use the white over patch that comes with the dexcom. If you don't, then the inner edges of the sticker will also come off like the outer edges. Either way, I don’t recommend these patches for the dexcom. I do however recommend the Libre 3 patches by this brand.

I just got my patches today & came to give a review. As I read through the other reviews I couldn’t help but laugh because I almost made the same mistake myself before I realized what was going on. After you get the patch applied to your skin & you feel this thick “tape like” on top of the patch that is another cover that has to be removed! If you bend a bit on the blue lines they will open up & you can pull the thick tape protective covering away to reveal the soft flexible skin like patch that covers your skin around the patch. I know it describes this in the instructions but that is hard for a lot of people to read so here are a few pics to show you the lines on the top & how they lift up & how what they show underneath don’t be like me & undo the big side of the white piece first or it will bunch up your skin like it did mine lol 😂 but just so ya know it’s as thin as your skin. If you feel anything thicker you didn’t take off all of the protective coverage of the patch! I truly like these so far. Hopefully I won’t be allergic to them! I’ll update in 10 days when I remove my monitor!UPDATE: it’s now May I’ve been using these since December & I still recommend them they sometimes come lose around the edges so I’ll take them off & I’ll have to put a new one on but overall they’re great & for the price it’s inexpensive. They feel just like your skin so you don’t even know it’s on because it’s so thin. I’m just finishing half of the package now so one package should last at least a year with the G7 10 day monitoring system & a few extra changes of it probably a bit longer but at minimum a year per package of 60 so not bad because I think I paid less than $7-8 for them.

I ordered these for added protection for my Dexcom for showering, swimming, and everyday wear. They don’t work as well as I had hoped though. I placed one on first thing when I got it and as soon as I showered it peeled off and I had to replace it and by morning the next one was off. I like the size and the fact that they didn’t break my skin out but I wish they held up better.

It's a good product and of you have hair it would be a a good idea to shave.

I gave a previous review and want to change it. After learning the proper way attach this product, I want to say that it's a good product and I highly recommend it.

UnfortunAtely, this particular CGM over-patch didn't work for me. Wiithin a day of using it, I had peeling and loosening. I had to replace the patch several times during that CGM session and was constantly stressed about the sensor falling off.The ability to attach the patch by myself is difficult as well, and is slightly cumbersome to not touch the exposed edges to adhere to the skin, it affects the "stickiness" of the patch. The patch provided with the sensor, as we all know, is just as in effective and disappointing.I will keep searching.

Worked really well was satisfied
