I bought this YIHUA 926LED III 60W Digital Display Soldering Iron Station, when my faithful Weller Soldering Station, started to falter, after many years of faithful service. I am currently retired, and consequently, cannot afford the £120.00, to replace it.Due to its price, this YIHUA Soldering Iron Station caught my eye, but I feared that would mean a lack of quality. In the past, I have been sadly disappointed in items made in China, but this one seems to buck the trend.PROS:Price.Having now used this Soldering Iron Station, I have to admit that it is very well made, and designed. It some good features, like the attached solder reel stand, a clear digital temperature display, plus an indispensable wet-sponge tray, for wiping the tip clean and removing excess solder. It also has two rubber covered crocodile clips, attached to flexible arms, which can be used to securely hold a printed circuit board, or two wires, during soldering. It comes with several different sizes and styles of soldering tips, and a rack to store them in. There is also a plastic tip cover, if you need to carry this in a tool bag.CONS:It does have a U.K. 13A plug fitted, but the mains cable isn't as long as I would have liked, and the cable is quite inflexible.As I have only just received it, I cannot attest to its longevity, but I am currently very pleased with my purchase, which arrived quickly, and at a reasonable price. Therefore, I can recommend both the product nav the Seller.

I bought this to replace my Weller TCP bench soldering iron which was 40 years old!. This soldering station is well made being made of solid plastic, There is a good selection of quality tips provided. The soldering iron lead is flexible and does not pull when manipulating the iron and is probably made of heat resistant material. The sleep/standby function is useful. The temperature is well controlled and heats up rapidly. I calibrated the temperature using a thermocouple but it was not far out. The only downside is that the mains lead is not long enough and is heavy duty and stiff but I can live with that. Overall a good quality compact bench soldering iron station for precision electronics work. I have not had it long so I can't vouch for its durability and reliability.

Ok it works but flimsy

Just received and used for the first time so I can't comment on reliability. However, it is easy to use and does exactly what I had hoped. It reaches the set temperature very quickly and comes with a range of tips. I am a relatively infrequent user (once or twice a month) but if you are a regular user it might be worth looking at other products with more features.I just wish there was a left handed version (with the solder spool on the right)!

Very good product and service from seller works really well could do with the lead between the iron and station being a bit longer but as the station dont get hot it not to bad to stand it on something

YIHUA 926LED III.The instructions said on first switch on set the temp to 250C and apply a solder to the iron tip. It would not melt solder at 250C. The solder station needed calibration and was unusable. I first thought that having the station, solder iron stand and third hand in one unit would be very practical but I found it cramped, inflexible and the third hand kept getting in the way. My soldering jobs are mainly joining wires and soldering wires to connectors. This third hand was no good for this because after accurately positioning the flexible arms and then letting go the arms would spring back. The third hand would probable work for small PCBs. The display is small, basic and the light indicating the iron is heating up tiny. I returned the station and am looking for a solder station with separate control unit, iron stand and third hand to give the flexibility I need.

Product quality is good, a little on the light side but definitely seems to be made out of decent materials. Soldering tips are decent, would suggest some brass wool for removing the old solder in addition to the sponge, in my opinion. Only used it for about 10hours over the months but seems to be going strong. Easy to use, versatile tips and “arms”.

Really pleased with this unit.. Temp adjustment a plus point . Excellent for my needs .
