This grab bar is very easy to install. It is made of metal and is very sturdy, providing great support. I needed something to hold on to instead of the towel rack and am pleased to say this works really well. In addition, I can hold on to it when I wash the feet. The handle has rubber on the top so it is comfortable, and you will not slip. Highly recommend this grab bar. One other thing to note, you can take it with you when you travel and employ it in hotels or when staying with family. Will not damage tubs.

When you finally get these on and properly adjusted (tightened securely) they absolutely are secure and should offer you that extra hand hold that prevents any accidental slips and falls.A broken hip is no fun. It might even take you out of the game altogether.So, why not add a little security to a dangerous daily necessity?I also like this particular model because of the grip tight handle they added. When your hands are wet, you don't need them slipping on a less robust grip. That would defeat the entire purpose!If you want to have much more security for your bathtub, this one will do the trick.

great addition to a handicap bathroom! Secure grip for getting in and outbof tub / shower combo. Mine is mounted directly across from toilet so I can rewach it to assist with gettin onto and off of toilet!well designed and sturdy construction.

This works great on bathtubs. I’ve reached that age where I need a little help getting out of the tub. It fits very tight on the side of tub to assist with getting out. I had no worries about it holding my weight.

The product itself is good, but installation was difficult because of the way it arrived. The clamp was incredibly tight and it took a HUGE amount of effort to unstick it. Then, the clamp mechanism was also stuck and it took another HUGE effort to unstick it. The instructions were lousy and didn’t talk about how “stuck” the parts would be and what do do if they were. Be prepared to use a big wrench and WD-40.

This is a very well made device. Easy to install and tightens well, but just for extra security ( my husband is a big guy), I put carpet tape on the inside and outside tub where clamp pads meet the tub. That baby ain’t goin’ anywhere!

Great safety Item!! Well-made and fairly priced!! Offers great comfortable support!! The rounded riser is easy on the hand. I use it to support getting on and off the commode, due to a bad back and weak legs!

I had a double knee replacement a few years ago and still have some trouble getting in and out of the tub when taking a bath. This will help immensely.
