This is my second vitamin c skincare product and I’m glad to say I won’t be switching to another one. Before, I tried a Korean vitamin c cream but didn’t notice any effect from it whatsoever.Prequel has brought me the nicer-quality serum that I need. I love that Dr. Sam Ellis makes this important skincare staple both approachable and affordable.It’s very liquidy so it took me a few tries to get the hang of application. I tried pumping several drops directly onto my face like some people do—but I have sensory issues and dislike that feeling.What I do is make a “cup” with the palm of my hand and pump 1-2 pumps of product into it so it pools. I dip my ring finger to get some of the serum and then apply it in large “dots” onto my forehead, then repeat the finger/dot method for my cheeks, chin, neck and nose. Then I use my fingers to collect remaining product from my palm and use them to rub in all of the “dots” evenly.I have dry skin. In my experience this serum is not sticky or tacky after applied. It feels smooth, plump and nice. The smell is a bit strange but I don’t mind it and it goes away after a few minutes. I usually wait 2-5 mins before applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to let it soak in.I will say you should apply this to bare skin always. I accidentally applied it over some leftover self-tanner lotion on my face and it was extremely itchy and uncomfortable all day. Use it as the first step for daily routine and you’ll be good to go.

This is a great vitamin C serum. You put this on dried down skin so wait for your toner to dry for maximum effectiveness. People say this has a pungent scent, it smells like a regular serum to me. This is watery consistency and not oily so it absorbs pretty well and I love the airless pump design.

Sometimes it’s hard to get the serum out, and it tends to dispense a bit of air along with the product. While this doesn’t affect the quality or performance of the serum itself, it can be a slight inconvenience when you're in a rush or trying to use just the right amount.Overall, this vitamin C serum is a fantastic product with great results, a smooth, non-sticky feel, and a brightening effect that works wonders for my skin. The pump issue is small. Nonetheless, it’s a great value, especially when compared to pricier serums on the market.

I got this product as a recommendation from Dr. Shereene Idriss on YouTube to replace my Drunk Elephant C-firma. First off, what is up with the pump on this thing? When I tried to do a pump on my face directly, it shot down my neck and down my shirt. The consistency is very watery, so I suggest doing a pump in the cup of your hand and applying to your face with your fingers. I have dry combination skin. It also feels a bit heavy and sticky and I can tell that I have it on all day under SPF moisturizer, but my face does look brighter, my fine lines are smoothes out and my dark spots are going away. I haven't really noticed a bad smell though. Overall, the price is great so I would say give it a try and see if you like it.

This stuff makes my skin feel so soft. It’s a serum it’s kinda thick, it lasts all day. It’s not oily and wears very well with makeup. The bottle is medium size but lasts a long time. All skin tones can use this with no issues

Love! Is there a smell? Yes but most great vit c serums have the "hot dog water" smell. Get over it if you want a legit product. It goes away. You do have to kind of get the pump down or too much will come out but I'd rather it be in an airless pump than another container. I can deal with packaging. This is a high quality Vit C for the price. I will be repurchasing. Also, something else to note. If you swipe through the colors of oxidization...you will see if your Vit C is still okay to use. It's okay if it's still a little yellow. Some people are saying their product is bad just because there is color to it. As long as it's not super dark..compare to the pics. Lastly, I have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate me at all.

After hearing the hype and watching videos on reviews about this vitamin c serum, I just knew I had to try it out for myself. At first I was very hopeful and excited to try this product out, however, It ended up not being the product for me. It has a very lightweight consistency, kinda runny almost. I was not a fan of the smell. After looking up some reviews, I saw that it was recommended to put this product in the refrigerator to maintain the formula? Definitely works on dark spots if that is your main focus.

I love the product and I would continue to buy it, especially at this great price, but I will not buy it again because the pump bottle is messy, whenever I pump it gets all over the place. If they had a better container for it, maybe a bottle with a dropper, I would buy it again. .You can’t beat this price, and it is one of the best vitamin C serums I have ever used, but I can’t stand the way it’s packaged. I would give it five stars but I took away a star because of the packaging.
