Am really disappointed with this product. It is very grainy and does not form into a slick gel when mixed with water no matter how much I stir it. I have previously taken capsules but tried this as it states it is the inner bark but it really is unpleasant to drink, almost choking on the grainy texture. Waste of money.

It doesn’t taste like what it normally tastes like and I put the packet into a 100mg screw jar and it only came up to 75g either will use this lot up as it seems to have the same consistency to what I am used to but feel like it’s a rip off as it’s not 100g! Not sure if I will be again will see

This has really helped soothe my stomach after meals. Found it easy to mix just with warm water. No strange aftertaste, and it seems to be doing wonders for digestion. Slippery elm has been used for centuries for it’s many health-promoting properties. Here it’s presented in versatile powder form of just slippery elm bark by itself with nothing added. As it’s a relatively pleasant-tasting powder it can be drunk on it’s own (but needs a good stir to fully dissolve it) or mixed into various blended drink concoctions, smoothies, protein shakes or foods. I find it works well in porridge, but it could just as easily be added to soups. As I already periodically use slippery elm, I’m long familiar with it and appreciate its benefits.It depends upon how much one wants to take per day as to how long the pack will ultimately last for, but for me because I tend to mix powders it’ll last for a good length of time. Value-wise it’s reasonable for the quality and quantity no matter how one wishes to take it.If wanting to try slippery elm then this is a good way to give it a go, especially as it’s also a source of fibre and antioxidants.
