Roku Ultra.......... Won't disappoint Plenty bang for the buck 💵
Ok so I have two Fire TVs. Both are extremely slow at navigating through the built-in Fire operating system. I got frustrated with using it for day to day viewing of streaming content. I came across a really good deal on a Roku 4k streaming stick. I was extremely satisfied with the UI that it provided. It was like a kid discovering candy 🍬🤣. I started researching what Roku had to offer for streaming devices and the Roku Ultra rating was very impressive. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos about the Roku Ultra and was impressed by the claim that it is 30% faster than previous streaming players. Don't get me wrong, streaming sticks are pretty fast in their own right. The Roku Ultra is utilizing the WiFi 6 format and is actually ( in my opinion} really close to the speed at tuning various streams as changing channels with a cable tuner. I was so impressed with it that I bought a Polk audio surround system to complete my setup adventure. Describing my satisfaction in two words, HAPPY CAMPER! Oh and my 4k streaming stick, I plugged it into my other Fire TV. It is definitely a win win for me. I think it's worth the c-note that I dropped on it. Very easy setup and seemless integration. Impeccable build quality and amazing performance. Get one already, you won't regret it! The rechargeable deluxe remote is like icing on the cake 🎂 Zero overheating issues. The volume control actually works better than the remote that came with my TV. All pros and no cons.

Unbelievable Quality!
I have a Fire stick, and got a Paramount + subscription - it was horrible! Big time audio/video sync problems, sub par video quality, was ready to dump Paramount. Bought a Roku Ultra - WOW everything just worked! No sync problems, stellar video quality, connects fast and the remote is awesome! Couldn't get it to run my LG TV at, first but I was not in the right place for it to connect. Got it! Highly recommend it, puts the Fires tick to shame . . . Well worth the money, you will love it! If I was AI generated I would give it 3 thumbs up . . . There is neat feature I found. 1/2 the time when you rewind a movie it is because you did not understand what someone said. Roku has a feature you can turn on that will turn on closed captioning on rewind! Super cool! You disable it if you want Also I found when setting it up, there is a little piece of plastic on the Roku over the receiver window to protect it. Pull it off. It will interfere with the reception.

Turbo your TV viewing--big time!!!!
My TV is super good, but over 15 years old!!! I was astonished at how much faster my streaming and menu searches went with Roku. Maybe it is the quad core processor. Fast, really fast.I love the illuminated keyboard and the keys are spaced--it seems---alittle wider. Tough plastic, heavy duty.If you love the earlier shows, lots are available and it is wonderful. One gripe: I need to check it out more, but it is not so easy to figure out how to get commercial free. I have Amazon Prime commercial free, but I must learn this system. As near as I can tell, RokuTV is what I now use. To get AcornTV ad free I must subscribe directly thru Acorn site. Still working on it, I could be wrong. This Roku is absolutely wonderful--just buy it. It is so wonderful and intuitive.

After a brief hiccup, nothing but awesome
I'll start by saying this product wasn't off to a good start. When I first installed the Roku, it gave me a warning that my 4KTV was set up to display no greater than 1080p and I needed to adjust the Settings on my television. I spent several minutes trying to do this, but the settings on the TV seemed to be set properly. After getting frustrated, I checked to see if the Roku would allow me to adjust its display settings (as opposed to the TV). 4K HDR TV was a choice, but the Roku said "not recommended." I have no idea why it said that because after I selected that option, the 4K works great!Youtube TV in particular works 10 times greater with this Roku vs. my older one. The other apps work fine too, but Youtube TV is the one that sticks out as working so much better. Almost no lag time at all. With the older model on some occasions a few shows would revert to 720p (or worse) for seemingly no reason at all, and I'd have to often "Refresh" the app or "Refresh" the Roku to fix. Not anymore!I've also used Netflix a few times and I no longer have to sit and watch that silly red circle that loads before each show. Now it's one click, and bam...you're there!I don't know why the Roku didn't want to automatically display in 4k HDR, but after a quick adjustment, I can't recommend this product enough. Far and away the best streaming device I've ever used!

It's Roku
I've been using Roku since 2012. I've upgraded several times since then. My last Roku was a fairly recent iteration, the 4k model from 2021 I think... That one started malfunctioning. It was crashing and rebooting and displaying distorted wallpaper. It was very disappointing. So I bought this one. It's much the same except the remote is much better. I like that it is rechargeable rather than AAA battery. I use my universal remote for everything but I appreciate it's quality.Overall performance is slightly faster vs my old unit. Hopefully this one will last longer.

High Quality!
Excellent product-easy set up from the remote-I bought 2 more for other rooms, 2 are Wi-Fi streaming and one is hard wired(Ethernet) and they all function great-even the one in the back bedroom on Wi-Fi that my Blu-ray and smart tv had trouble with receiving! I have been recommending this to my friend’s which I hardy do. I bought a knockoff just to see what the $29.00 copy was like-not even close to the ease of setting up-yes ok picture with the 4K function but took me two nights to figure it out and doesn’t have the local channels and live tv function. Dont waste your time on the cheap crap just get one of these, you will be glad you did!
