Q: Hello, I purchased this stapler 30/04/14 and the long spring has fallen out already, please could you advise how this can be repaired.

Greetings, we havnt had this issue, however heres my analysis...the spring has rings on either end, these attach to 2 hooks, 1 in the roof of the top & one on the botton rail near the hinge. The spring goes above the hinge from the bottom hook, all the way up to the white plastic dowel on the end of the upper half of the stapler, then it goes along the length of the upper section, hugging the dull grey chassis that has 2 holes in it. This will reqiire some fine tweasers & a torch! A magnifying glass would be helpful too. I believe lubricating the lower running rail would ease the strain on the spring. No, it wont, I bought it for that purpose and am now returning it

Good morning, This Marlin stapler can staple in three ways: 1. It can staple regularly, using the anvil (metal part underneath where the stapler comes out) so the staple legs close under your paper 2. It can pin, turning the anvil around so the legs of the staple go outwards through your paper instead of closing underneath it, and 3. It can tack directly against the wall Do be sure to check which length of staples you need and are using for your stapling jobs.
