Get this if you are a camper, a regular commuter or away dayer an office anywhere type or a frequent traveller including flying.I’m a vine reviewer and received this device for review. Because it is quite a pricey acquisition I have reviewed as comprehensively as I could. I hope you find this useful.🔋 IN THE BOXIn the box you get the charger, a small USB C cable and a carry bag alongside the usual multi language instructions🔋 SIZE, WEIGHT AND LOOKSThe charger is surprisingly compact measuring 11.5cm high, 7 cm deep and 6 cm wide (this is smaller than the product dimensions mentioned which I think relate to the box size). On my scales it weighed 558 grams. It isn’t exactly pocketable but will slip in your rucksack or bag without being too heavy.It is a nice pillar look, the screen is lovely (more later) and it also has a rubberised base so no scratching your desk or sliding etc.🔋 AIRLINE READYRated at 72wh this is below the 100 watt hour rating allowed on a plane in most countries. With the various outputs this means you could use this in transit for your laptop, headphones, phone, tablet etc🔋 CHARGING OPTIONSYou can charge up to 4 devices at a time from this power bank and these are the choices- QI2 charger. The top of the power bank has a tiltable QI2 charger. This means you can charge an iPhone at 15w wirelessly and also any QI2 Android phone in the future (there is only one phone that supports at the time of writing). QI2 allows faster charging as it uses magnets to align and secure your phone. Don’t worry though this will support the QI wireless phones as well.- USBC1 up to 100 watts of power from this port so good for charging a laptop or MacBookUSBC2 up to 45 watts of power from this port so good for fast charging of the latest phones like the iPhone 16 pro max or Google Pixel 9 Pro XL which claim to take between 30 and 37 watts max. Good for tablets toUSBA can output up to 22 watts. Good for most phones and many other devices.For charging the power bank itself both USB C ports can be used. USBC1 supports up to 65 watts and USBC2 up to 45 watts. The powerbank can be recharged pretty quickly with the right plug. From zero to powered up hero in a couple of hours🔋 PROTOCOLS AND COMPATIBILITYThe charging handles a wide variety of protocols including being QI2 certified, PD3.0, QC, SCP and PPS. Power Delivery 3.0 is basically a more efficient and fast way to charge, like having a “smart” charger that can talk to your devices and work out the best way to charge your device delivering only the power needed efficiently and improving the health of your battery. This up to 100 watts. PPS (programmable power supply) allows very precise control and adjustments constantly to further optimise the efficient and safe charging. QC is Quick Charge which works on Qualcomm devices (many Android phones). Finally SCP (SuperCharge Protocol) is the QC equivalent for Huawei and Honor smartphones and tablets.As you can imagine this power bank really covers open and proprietary protocols to ensure that it is compatible with as wide a variety of devices as possible selecting the most optimal charging depending on the device and the state of the battery it is charging moving from fast charging to trickle charging as required🔋 PASS THROUGH CHARGINGA really good feature of this power bank is that unlike some you can both be charging your power bank and using it to charge other devices at the same time. This means you can use it like a pass through hub to charge 3 devices (if you are using the wireless charger) and have the benefit of having a fully charged portable battery ready for when you have no access to a power plug.🔋 SAFETYOn top of all the protocols comes a set of security/safety protocols. These protect discharge, short circuits and over/under voltage or current for both input and output. There is also a thing called thermal guard that monitors the temperature 200 times per second. Whilst the pillar design already gives a better form for heat dissipation this will offer an additional layer of protection and change the way it charges if it starts to get too hot🔋 DISPLAYThe power bank has a fantastic little display.Click the button to turn is on and you get a little robot man saying “let’s power up together” turn it off and he says “bye” (all text).The full colour display shows you the percentage power left on the battery, whether it is trickle charging and the input or output wattage for the three main ports (it doesn’t show the wireless). A second click with show a more detailed graph mode that shows real time voltage and current alongside a real time power curve graph. You don’t need this, but you will want it🔋 PERFORMANCEThese are not scientific as I didn’t set a hard timer I just plugged in and checked laterI used this on a dead (0%) MacBook Pro 16" 2021. Model and took it from 0% to 37% in about 30 minutes. It was running at about 90 watts and depleted the battery from 85 to 90% to 25% but rescued the dead MacBookIt took less than 1 hour 15 minutes to charge the power pack from 25% to 100% using a MacBook charger in port C1Put a flat Apple Watch to charge from the USB-A, an iPad Pro 2024 13 inch on port USB C1 at 25% and a Pixel 9 Pro XL on 30% in port C2 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max on 69%on the Q I 2 when the Battery was at 100%.After 30 minutes the power bank was on 40%. The iPad Pro was at 60%. The pixel was at 83% The iPhone at 87% and the watch on 48%. Impressive!!!🪫 PRICEWhen I reviewed this it was priced at £179.99 with a 5% off voucher available. This is obviously very pricey so I will leave it to you to decide how much you want this excellent little charger. If you don’t want the Wireless charging and are prepared to only have three outputs and a less interesting display then you can get a slightly less fancy UGREEN power bank for about £100 less. My rating is based on the capabilities and performance and not on price.🔋 FINAL THOUGHTS5 star in everything but the cost, but this is feature rich and built to work into the future. This is a do it all power bank which will support nearly all of your devices and holds a decent amount of punch for its impressively small form factor and weight. UGREEN is a trusted brand and this power bank, although pricey, this pillar of power is pretty cutting edge and can charge up to four devices at once. Whilst I have mentioned phones, tablets and laptops in this review it would also be great for cameras, drones and many other things and because it can trickle charge is fine for earbuds, watches etc. a fantastic device to have in my kit. I’d like it to be a bit cheaper but If you don’t want every bell and whistle I’d advise looking at other UGREEN products

I tried several powerbanks before i chose this one. The main reason is that it can charge my Macbook pro. The fact that it can wirelessly charge my phone is a bonus. When i charge my phone at night, one tap and i can see the clock displayed. I love the fact that i can see all of the information i need as regards the time left to charge along with the voltage input and output. The powerbank is well designed.

After only using the powerbank few times the display gets stuck on 100% battery level no matter what output you use.Basically doing the main feature of the powerbank useless since you do not know the level remained.The wireless top was never reported how much was using anyway but the rest of outputs used to be correctly shown.Funny enough the support available is only with a china phone number and and email.very expensive item that became faulty after 5 use.
