Q: Does the side table fold down ?

No it doesn’t. Quality not great, lots of scratches, rusts and scuffs. Arranging for mine to go back as they would only offer £10 discount on the poor quality.

Q: What's the size of the cooking area?

Mine is stowed away still but the cooking area is large about 2.5 feet square we are large family very pleased

Q: Can i buy replacement grids for this bbq

You will have to contact the supplier , however what happened to the original s as they re easily cleaned

Q: Can the shelf be fitted on the left side instead of the right?

Looking at it from an engineering point. Yes, but you would have to swap both of the legs to the opposite side of the grill. So the wheels are on the left hand side, looking from in front of the bbq. Plus when first assembling the fire box, swap the air inlet panel for the opposite panel. But this might result in you having to modify the firebox pan mechanism to raise and lower the bed. Certainly worth a try though! Hope this helps.
