This polenta is of a great quality. It’s a bargain of a price and can also be used to make cornbread or morning grits.

I've purchased this polenta meal several times and just love it. My polenta is always creamy and never lumpy. Has a great overall flavor. Direction on package my it easy for those that need a quick reference.BEWARE of other posts that give negative reviews and claim it's too fine of a meal. It is CLEARLY stated on the package that it's finely gound. So if you prefer a more course of a texture /polenta then this isn't for you.Also note, that the bag it comes in isnt the best. Its like buying flour from the store, when you grab the bag a little puffs out. Otherwise I think this product is great and will continue to purchase it.

So this is my first time trying these type of grits, after doing my homework I found out that in Italy this is common to eat anytime of the day. So compared to the normal type of grits I buy I think these will fit in nice. Cooked them once already outcome was good, just takes a bit longer than the usual grits. Was a bit concerned over the packaging because the box arrived severely damaged and had to be retaped. I was for sure that the grits probably got busted open since the mail handlers don't care about anyone's parcel and handling them any kind of way. My suggestion is for them to put a fragile label on the box prior to packing and sending out for delivery.

Mixes up super fast. You really have to be ready to stir, stir, stir and beat out any lumps. Basic polenta cooks up very thick. Needs additional butter, cream, milk and/or stock to make rich and not too thick.

I liked this polenta so well that I ordered a second bag. I have made marvelous corn bread with it! Great product, imported from Italy but at a competitive price and superior quality. Try it and you won't be disappointed!
